Welcome to International Drive!

International Drive Orlando Florida

Commonly referred to as ‘I-Drive’, International Drive is home to many of Orlando’s attractions, shopping and entertainment. Also along I-Drive is the country’s second largest convention center.

Air Florida Helicopter Tours Several helicopter tours are available and more affordable than you may think. Tours start at $20 per person.

Congo River Golf Enjoy a round of putt-putt at one of two locations on International Drive. One location has one 18 hole course the other has two 18 hole courses. In addition to golf, both have an arcade and a ‘feed the gator’ attraction.

Exotic Car Gallery Being a metro Detroit native, when we think of cars we think of Detroit so this was an unexpected find for us. A private collection of rare automobiles, ten are on display at all times. Also offers a personal racing simulator. For most of us, this will be the closest we get to a Maserati, Ferrari Enzo, Spyker Laviolette and more.

I-Ride Trolley (International Drive) The I-Ride Trolley is a convenient, cost effective way to get around the International Drive area. I-Drive, as it is often referred to, is home to miles of attractions, hotels, shopping, restaurants, nightlife and the Orange County Convention Center. There are 15 climate controlled replica trolleys that run from 8:00 am – 10:30 pm daily. Two trolley lines, the red which runs every 20 minutes and the green line which runs every 30 minutes, will get most anywhere you want to go in this area. We’ve used this system. It takes a little bit of time to get the timing down but it is a much easier way to get around International Drive…especially when there are big conventions in town. Another great feature of the trolley – one day unlimited ride passes are only $4; three, five, seven and fourteen day passes are also available.

Peabody Ducks Started in Memphis, TN at the Peabody Hotel, this tradition is carried on in Orlando. Fun, free and something the kids will love, the Marching of the Peabody Ducks is a tradition. These five North American Mallard Ducks live in a $100,000 (nope, that’s not a typo) penthouse suite at the Peabody.

Putting Edge (Glow-in-the-Dark Mini Golf) This is an indoor miniature glow in the dark golf course with arcades and music. If you are around Easter weekend, check out the glow in the dark Easter egg hunt.

Ripley’s Believe it or not Open 365 days per year, come see the oddities found along Robert Ripley’s travels. The Orlando Odditorium looks as if it is sliding into a sinkhole. Even if you’ve been to one of Ripley’s other locations be sure to give this one a try. Each location’s collection is 90% unique.

Shala Salon & Spa Take a break and pamper yourself! There are several treatments to choose from including body and cellulite treatments and full salon and spa services. Two locations, one on International Drive.

The Body & Sol Spa at the Rosen Centre Inside the Rosen Hotel, this spa offers massage, body treatments and facials as well as nail services and a fitness center. Additional fitness center services are also available including tennis lessons and personal trainers.

Tiki Island Adventure Golf Play a round of putt-putt in a tropical setting with prehistoric creatures that once roamed this volcanic island. There are two putt-putt courses each with a bonus 19th hole. Get a hole in one in at the 19th hole to make the volcano erupt and win a free game of golf. You can also take a ride around Tiki Island in a paddleboat.

Titanic - The Experience One hour guided tours through full scale recreations of some of the Titanic’s famous rooms. Tours are led by actors in full period costumes. Includes an underwater room displaying an 8 foot replica of the Titanic as it she sits today at the bottom of the Atlantic.

Train Land Orlando (407) 354-1400 Train enthusiast? Train store and museum with one of the largest G-gauge layouts in the world covering more than 4,800 square feet.

USA on Ice Want to get out of the heat of Orlando? Cool off during one of their many for public skate times. Traveling with teenagers? USA on Ice has Friday Teen Night Club with DJ parties. On Sundays a family of 5 can skate for $40. Skate nights include music and prizes.

Van’s Skatepark Since we aren’t skateboarders we haven’t actually tried this…but kids seem to love it. Check the website for descriptions of all the course features. When you click this link you’ll need to scroll down about half way to see the light grey box outlining the features.

WonderWorks As International Drive's only upside down attraction it’s hard to pass this one by without going in. Experience a 5.3 earthquake and dip your hand in a pool of water to see what the passengers of the fated Titanic experienced.

World Bowling Center We know you probably wouldn’t think to take time from all the Orlando attractions to go bowling. But, just in case you need a break, or it’s raining, we thought we’d mention the World Bowling Center. Recently updated there are 32 lanes, an arcade, snack bar and full service bar. On ‘Hospitality Tuesday’ bowling is $3.00 per person per game with free shoe rental.
