Old Town Florida

With all the hustle and bustle of the main Orlando tourist attractions, Old Town Florida and other cities near Orlando often get missed. Each of these quaint cities has something to offer.
Old Town Florida,
for example offers a mix of shopping, restaurants and an amusement park.
Entrance to the park is free however there is a small charge for the rides. You can purchase ride tickets individually or you can purchase a value pack. Attractions include human slingshot, roller coaster, Ferris wheel, and go-karts. There is also an area for the younger kids to enjoy. Open from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm every day.
The park also is host to several car shows and entertainment special events. Live bands perform every Friday and Saturday night.
If you are looking for something a little more low key, try the
City of Longwood Historic District.
The City of Longwood is a quant town approximately 190 acres in size and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The
Historical Trail
is a walking tour that takes you by each of the 37 historical structures. It can be completed in approximately an hour.
The
Town of Celebration
offers a quaint lakeside area, a busy downtown, world class restaurants, specialty food stores, shops and boutiques, and hosts many special events. The Family Fun Station has electric car rentals, bike rentals, paddle boats and remote control sailboats.
Winter Park
is known for its upscale shopping and dining and is home to many museums and galleries. Take a stroll through one of the many parks, or enjoy one of the many festivals.
